Living Sport, the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough County Sport Partnership, is working in conjunction with Sport England and the Daily Mile Foundation to support schools to increase children's participation in regular physical activity.
The Daily Mile encourages children to jog or run daily, outside, for 15 minutes, at a time of their teacher's choosing. The aim of this is to improve the physical, emotional, health, and mental wellbeing of children - regardless of age, ability and personal circumstances.
Its impact can be transformational – improving not only the children’s fitness, but also their attainment, mood, behaviour and general wellbeing. The Daily Mile is not sport or PE, but health and wellbeing through daily physical activity.
To help us identify the needs of our local schools and inform the priorities of our future support to schools , we would be grateful if you would complete this very quick survey (only 10 mins), about your school's current involvement in the Daily Mile.
Every school completing the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher to purchase physical activity equipment of their choice
